Tune In. Choosing a Station
I recently took a quite primitive radio apart because I wanted to see who is talking and singing inside of it. With no success. Nobody to be found in there.
After giving it some serious thought it seems clear that the sounds come through radio waves are being emitted ceaselessly, and only if we if tune the radio correctly we can actually perceive a program. But the waves, invisible to the eye are yet always there.
Could we imagine that the brain is a sort of radio receiver, just far more complex? Could we imagine that the universe, the quantum field or whatever we might call it, has a greater variety of programs to offer?
Then we might want to find our “tuning button” to set the right frequency, so we can hear the song of life that we’re looking for. The one that deep inside we really desire to perceive. Let’s find it.
